What is Brewing for a Cause?
We are a unique beer festival benefiting Paws Across Pittsburgh, a local non-profit animal rescue. PAWS helps rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home thousands of homeless pets through their network of volunteer foster families.
- We feature well over 100 different homebrewed beers, ciders, and meads made by various club members, as well as beers from great craft breweries from around the Pittsburgh region.
- In addition to all of the great beer, Cold Friends Kitchen will have food available for purchase on site.
- We have great auction items every year. All proceeds go towards Paws Across Pittsburgh.

Who Are We?
Brewing for a Cause is hosted by Three Rivers Underground Brewers (TRUB), a longtime Pittsburgh homebrew club.
Brewing for a Cause is TRUB’s annual charity event, which is one of Pittsburgh’s longest running beer festivals. Now in our 17th year, we have helped raise approximately $350,000 donated entirely to charity.
